Tantric texts and tantric practices were influential not only in Buddhism, but also to the whole Indian religious culture. In this course, we will discuss how the Tantras were developed in India through historical and textual perspectives, and discuss how it was transmitted to other parts of Asia, like China, Japan, Tibet, and Southeastern Asia.
