本理論與實踐兼具課程，為通識教育「現代書院實踐課程」三生課群的基礎必修課程，可分為三大部分：第一部分為比較東西方書院教育之異同，進一步耙梳佛大書院教育之特色與內涵；第二部分分別以十堂課來介紹生命、生活與生涯三生教育的「現代書院實踐課程」；第三部分則在每週最後一節課引導學生觀心靜定之演練，以培養學生自我覺照能力，潛移默化做人的道理及做事的倫理，以備將來在職場上，成為品德與專業兼備的人才。The general education required course “Idea of Residential College and Practice” covers both theory and practice with 3 characteristics: 1. A comparison between the eastern and western residential colleges, the features and connotation of FGU residential college. 2. An introduction to 10 lessons each of life, living and career education 3. Concentration and mindfulness practice for the last period of every week, in order to cultivate student’s self-awareness, infusing three good deeds and four giving into student’s behavior and conduct for their future careers.
